Court Security Seminar is a three day program taught by Advanced Law Enforcement Readiness Training (ALERT), Inc. The seminar includes the following topics:

Courthouse security
Physical security site survey
Screening Checkpoint
First response to hostage situations
Judicial Threat Management
Non-verbal communications
Courtroom Security
Securing the jury
Judicial protection
High threat trials
Officer Survival

Participants receive written materials, tailored for Colorado, that can be used as models for enhancing the court security plans within their jurisdiction. Learning is reinforced with practical exercises.

Participants are able to use the concepts and procedures within their jurisdiction immediately after the seminar.

DO NOT PAY FOR THIS CLASS ONLINE OR SEND MONEY TO CSOC.

The cost of this class is paid by a grant from the Court Security Commission. Travel costs up to $190.00 may be reimbursable to your agency from the same grant. Information on how to apply for these funds is available at www.coloradocourthousesecurity.com. Please print the class invoice from the link provided on your confirmation email and attach it to your grant request. There is no need to send payment to CSOC.
