Ethics

This class was developed as part of the CACP/CSOC Supervisory Institute, and is offered through CLEAT as a stand-alone course for Colorado law enforcement agencies. The content can be directed to Commanders, Supervisors, or line officers as requested. Facilitated discussions include: ethical issues for the law enforcement profession, societal issues, ethical considerations for the individual SO or PD, personal ethics, and the character of leaders. The course involves “considerable” discussion among participants across a multitude of topics. The goal of this course is to promote doing the right thing, as well as re-examining the benefits of collaboration with others to better perform our duties as peace officers.
